Procedure of issue of certificates

 

 

The Examination Centre shall issue an electronic indefinitely valid certificate to the persons who have successfully passed an examination. Information about the persons who passed an examination shall be published on the website (https://ltsa.lrv.lt) of the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration within three working days.
Persons directly responsible for the railway transport traffic, shall be obliged to attend at least 16 hours of training related to the management of the rail traffic and safety requirements every three years following the date of issue of the certificate, and to provide the documents supporting their participation in trainings to the Examination Centre, which issued the certificate.
 
Persons indirectly responsible for the railway transport traffic, shall be obliged to attend at least 8 hours of training related to safety requirements of rail traffic every three years following the date of issue of the certificate, and to provide the documents supporting their participation in trainings to the Examination Centre, which issued the certificate.
 
Persons responsible for loading and unloading of cargo in and out of the carriages (work supervisors), shall be obliged to attend at least 16 hours of training related to cargo loading and securing, as well as to the requirements of carriage of goods by rail every two years following the date of issue of the certificate, and to provide the documents supporting their participation in trainings to the Examination Centre, which issued the certificate.
 
The Examination Centre shall suspend the validity of an issued certificate to persons, who failed to attend the trainings. The validity of a certificate shall be renewed, when a person presents a statement of participation in the trainings to the Examination Centre.
